Savvy and I said something at the same time last night, so naturally she said, "Jinx, Mom, you owe me a soda." (Yeah, the jinx thing was cool when I was eight too.)
"I don't owe you a soda."
"Yes, you do."
"Why do I owe you a soda?"
She snorts a little. "Because, you HAVE to. It's in the American culture. You owe me a Coke."

Brooke's New Song
While I was rocking Isaac and Brooke was laying in bed:
"Momma, I have a new song to sing to Isaac."
"Okay, let's hear it."
"Monkey, monkey, eat your food. Monkey, monkey, please don't peel off anyone's face."
(At this point she kept singing about Monkey, Monkey, but I have no idea what she said because I was laughing so hard.)

Too Much!
Riley asked from the kitchen, "How much [food] do you have left, Brooke."
"Too much," Brooke replied.
"Too much," Brooke replied.
